We must leave our mark on this worldJune 20, 2019 at 3:15 am #841772Hi thanks.
I am first building up the shape of the fish with molten aluminium.
Nothing too exciting at the moment.June 23, 2019 at 2:59 pm #841773June 26, 2019 at 1:53 am #841774June 26, 2019 at 12:19 pm #841769Interesting to see how you build everything up with welds and then grind until smooth. That is a lot of work! And difficult to get a perfectly round sphere. Neat to watch the beginnings of this piece.
Just a note of caution which you likely know- be careful with metal dust. Our skin is like an open sponge that takes in metal through our pores and when we breathe it etc. It only takes a little bit taken in daily to build up in our bodies and be a toxic overload. Having a hair sample yearly, you can check and see how much aluminum or other metals – lead- etc, you have accumulated. Drink lots of water and have green juices, salads, and vegetable’s to detox it out. I know this from experience so just giving a heads up on it in case it’s helpful.

It’s interesting to watch your process. Thanks for sharing!
