12×16 acrylic kitchen still life. I posted this some months ago, but I’ve made changes. I re painted the pepper and added tomatoes.
February 2, 2019 at 11:20 pm #771890Very nice still life, Rick, I like how you used the orangey background then have the blue pot the largest shape in a complementary color. The rough texture of the brown table lends a nice touch to the smooth vegetables.

Really thanks for taking your time.
Your words are encouraging, especially considering your artistic skill.
I took time to look over some of your work.
Very inspiring.Kay your discussion is always appreciated. Your talent backs up your reviews.
Thanks.Jon, thank for your thoughtful words.
I’ve turned 70 this year. Been painting since 2005 when I fell from a ladder and broke both ankles. I had my wife get me some art supplies.
We lived in Big Spring Tx near Kay.
I’ll post a couple of my early paintings. Somewhere on WC.
Thanks
RickFebruary 8, 2019 at 8:36 pm #771894OUCH Rick. Sorry to hear that. I used to go up the tall ladders and do the leaves in the gutters and such….no more. Too many horror stories at my age.
Keep Painting. Its good for the soul. You’re doing great.
