I had to throw away a set of 8 small bottles of Winsor & Newton drawing ink last week… I had discovered that they were too old (more than 15 years) and the shellac separate from the pigments. :crying: So now I will try to visit some of my ink collection more often.

#1 making music — my kids conversation over the piano.. The elder Iris was trying to show the little Lily how to do a new song…done with Walnut drawing ink of Tom Norton Designs … with a dip pen

#2 foot — done with a dip pen and F&W acrylic ink… I also had this ink for more than 10 years … and the ink seems get too thick and clog on my dip pen so quick

                                        #3 shell — F&W acrylic ink

Wetcanvas keeps making me sign in every few minutes so I am writing this on my computer and will copy and paste. I may have to load the photos separately.

EP, I liked the way you grouped your glasses and art supplies. Gave them a new look.

Joan, happy to see you back and like the beach scene so much.

Ai, love the girls at the piano as always. The acrylic ink worked well, can’t tell you had problems. The art supplies are neat. Interesting bamboo pen. Bet you do great with it.

I sketched on the porch this morning in the big book with Zig Millennium 05, blue and green. Thought I would show you the whole page. About 45 minutes.
Then I sketched with ArtRage on my iPad with the Apple pencil. The rock took probably an hour. Too long!

                                            Number 1, house
                                            Number 2, landscape
