First of call, thanks for straightening the buildings. In a conversion like this, the tilt would have been even more pronounced. The special effect is perfectly suited for this composition of lines, angles and details. This sure would look good in a canvass wrapped poster sized print. So many of the details have been retrieved, great job, Mike. What software did you use?

I went ahead and downloaded Adobe Photoshop. Not thrilled with this cloud thing, but until I find and play with other programs that’s going to be it. Now, if I could get Flaming Pear to work with it … LOL

Michael, this is great! As Lorell said the straight verticals make the photo.
When it opened up and at first glance it looked like an 1880’s era photo. Upper left is a water tower for the building below which adds to the old time feel. I saw a Mike Rowe show on this when he was rebuilding one. Pretty cool!

Thanks Rich! It’s fun again. As soon as the camera purchase gets here I’ll be more into the swing of things. I am actually thinking about stepping backwards with Photoshop also. I may go back to an older version compatible with all the old plug-ins I I found I still have. We’ll see.

I wonder if the plug-ins you need can be found free ? Worth checking out. Here is one site I found if you have the right edition.
