This was done for a raffle for charity. The winner won a pet portrait of his choice, thus, Duffy " Are they home yet?" from a photo.

General critique please

the dog tag and the paint chip beside it distract a bit from the face of the dog and i'd subdue them a bit

lovely work on the doggy tho, from what i can see with the small image

I absolutely adore this painting, my 17 year old daughter was completely taken by it. I actually really like the little guys doggy tag, I think he is proud of it, and feels dressed. It gives him an identity and shows that he is loved and special. I keep looking at it, the winner who received it must have been thrilled to bits. I wish it was mine =)) x

There is such a sweet expression on his face. He wants his owners to come back to him. Very nice.
