Red face Something small - FINISHED

In addition to the peacock I wanted to do something small at 5x7 in size with lots of lots of work just to see how far I can push myself. It is from my own reference from Edinburgh zoo.

It is an amur leopard and funnily enough I have started a 5x7 close up of a snow leopard in acrylics with proper materials.

The eye is nearly finished (after some painstaking work, I am dreading the other one) and I have included a close up. It has been done using a scalpel so far.

Close up many times larger than in real life.

I am thinking of a title along the lines of 'A cold stare' something like that. If you have any suggestions let me know please

As always C and Cs most welcome and thanks for looking!

Hope you like it!

Re: Something small.

Looks amazing so far. I love how you have handled the eye, it really has that glassy, moist look that conveys 'life' so well. I can't wait to see it completed!
