Hello. I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday. Now back to artwork for me.

I did this after getting a review on a previous painting that made me realize I wasn’t working with the the light properly at all. I started with the still life set up to create more drama with the light. I’m planning to add more brightness to the right side of the table and cloth area. I posted to 2 photos of the painting because it was hard to get an accurate photo.

If you look back at the previous rose posts of mine, I think you will see some growth in my work and how I’ve been helped by the artists who critiqued. Any thoughts or comments welcome. Would love to know that I am on the right track. Thank you for looking.
