Re: Your legacy? Wills and such

Tina, I'm very sorry your best friend passed away.

I keep meaning to take care of all this — a couple of years ago I got a booklet with a form to follow to get me started, but I haven't gotten to it yet. My (younger) brother just went through a health crisis in the last week and a half, and fortunately survived. It's his children that I would be leaving everything to... and a reminder that it's necessary to get this taken care of.

With thanks for the reminders here, and wishing you all much good luck in getting your papers worked out,

Re: Your legacy? Wills and such

@timelady; Thanks for the clarification. I've just checked my copy of the will, and I've left everything to my partner so he gets IP rights then. Which is how I now want it, and that will do for me. And a couple I know will get everything, including IP, if he dies before me, or within 28 of my death. So it's all sorted out.

Re: Your legacy? Wills and such

This is interesting as my paintings are more valued by my friends than family!I should start thinking about who inherits my art now
