Sunset Palm

5x7 Fabriano 140 cold press. Working from a few of my photos from St Maarten.
C&C please. A number of washes for the sky, trying to not overwork it!

Re: Sunset Palm

How wonderful that you're recreating memories from your trip! Those palm fronds are beautiful set against the colourful sunset.

Re: Sunset Palm

Thank you for your comments about the sky and palm fronds Char, Maribeth, Marita, Clay and reikiart. Yahya, it was so peaceful and as Doug says, the end of a beautiful day. Thanks everyone for looking!

Re: Sunset Palm

This is a beautifully done painting. I don't think the buildings on each side add much(unless they are paper edges and not buildings). Regardless a peaceful painting.

Re: Sunset Palm

Thank you so much Katherine, evartpat, and Carl, there are no buildings, those are the edges of my paper, I must remember to crop my photo!
