Little girl holding her baby sister

This is a commissioned woodcut portrait that I finished last night. It is a 12"x12" print of two sisters. I got the commission through my Etsy shop. It took me a second to get used to seeing it in the reverse of how it had been when I was working on it, but other than that I love it. There is so much going on it in. The babies face was hard and could be better, but it doesn't bother me because of everything else that works.

Very interesting work! Had you thought to keep the highlights on the faces and hands smoother? It would add more definition to the features.

Actually it is a bad photo (scanner is broken) there is a lot more definition in the actual work. I am happy with it as is.

I did I was just saying that the detail is there. I am no portrait artist, I just do it on the side sometimes. I know that it isn't perfect but I think it is pretty good.

Very expressive eyes the bigger child has. Woodcut and then printed. Sound like quiet some work. Very interesting work, I have never seeing something like that. Cool!
