WDE Feb 10: Horses, sunflowers & pastries [poss. MI]

Maureen, I'll try to take better photos for the next group of pics! With a better cell phone (trial l phone replacement takes terrible pics, so back to my previous phone) & in better light.


Admittedly though, some of the smudge factor is the not so great paints since I was trying to use up old Reeves again, + my painting on a small scale as practice for the flower ATC project. My really loose style doesn't translate to tiny very well ;-> (I actually used a regular paintbrush this time instead of my usual waterbrush).

They look great! My new iPhone 4S takes really great photos.

Instead of touching up the small watercolor sketch, I ended up painting the horses again in acrylic on 24x24" gessoed MDF board during my painting class (instead of starting a winter scene... I decided the horses were a lot more interesting! ;->).
