You may wish to look at the angle/arch of the shore line. Lovely fall colors.

I studied on this very nice piece, but I too had questions about the perspective of the lake. In addition, I softened the sky and made the "log" in the foreground less pronounced. I have added fog behind the first layer of trees so they stand out better against their background.
PS: is this Mt. Rainier?
