Central Massachusetts Pastel Society 1st National Online Show

A shout out to the newly formed Central Massachusetts Pastel Society. This organization was only started this past January. Having worked on many pastel shows over the years, I know it takes a lot of work. The selection jurors were Jacob Aguiar & Lisa Rico, and the awards juror was Christine Ivers. Here is the link to the show CMPS This will bring up the award winners. Click on the blue link to view the entire show.

Thanks for the link to this top-notch show, Karen! Wow, there are some terrific pastels to admire ... including two by you!!! Congratulations on the award for "Temptation Won" and also for having "My Lucky Penny" included in the show! Hooray for Penny and her beautiful, furry face!

Congratulations also to Phil Bates and Marlene Bezich! You both have some beautiful work in this show!

Thank you, Donna! CMPS got rolling so quickly, I had not heard of them. I wish them well.

Re: Central Massachusetts Pastel Society 1st National Online Show

A number of art societies have expanded their shows to online. The benefit to the artists is there is no shipping required. A second benefit is we all get to enjoy the shows without leaving home. The IAPS (International Association of Pastel Societies) show link is IAPS. There are quite a few shows on the exhibition page. These shows will inspire you to challenge yourself.
