First drawing shared

Hi there, I've never shared anything on here, so I'm just trying it out. Here is a work I did this week in pencil, 9x11, "End of My Rope". Let me know your thoughts...I'm not sure if it's 'finished' yet.

Hi Susan ... welcome to D&S. I would like to see a clearer light source in this as well as more mids. But there is a lot to like in this - good motion, good composition.

Hi Susan! Welcome to D&S! There is much to like in your drawing. I particularly like the way you have depicted her muscles. That is not so easy to do and you did it well. Keep drawing and let us see it. I look forward to seeing more from you!

Thanks very much for the input...I will definitely work on that...it's a weakness for sure - I just draw randomly, without thinking about light and perspective. lol

Nice point of view, makes the drawing interesting. (And I hope for her that the ground is not a very large distance below her.)
