bethany t - People either love or hate yupo it seems. It is non absorbent, shiny, slick, and indestructible. It's a little like poster board but won't buckle when wet. Someone said if you want to try it something similar is the back side of one of those plastic 'For sale' signs you hand in your window. It's great with watercolor because it retains the hard edge rings of the washes. Plus its easy to wipe if off for corrections.

Thanks. No they are from photos. I just started painting plein air at a local beach so intend on adding some figures in those landscapes.
