This old barn sits on a neighboring property about a mile from me – I have always found it an interesting old structure and grounds; remnants of hard times –

Painting: Oil on canvas panel, 14 x 18; Palette: Yellow Ochre Pale, Burnt Sienna, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Raw Umber, Cremnitz White –

Wow, Hud, you’ve accomplished a tremendous piece with this rundown property so sad yet majestic in a sense. Love the old wooden textures plus the old fence leading us into it. Did you cross post it in the Landscapes forum? I know they’d love to see this.

Worked hard on that old fence trying to get it to complement the falling down barn; plus wanted it to lead the viewer into the painting with some interest to it –
