I actually just got into her music two days ago so it is cool that I saw this thread.
I was skeptical at first but I like her music.May I ask, what medium (if any) do you use for alla prima?
I tried alla prima for the first time yesterday and used Galkyd slow.
I was wondering if Galkyd lite would be okay to use for this method of painting.Thanks Mario. I used odourless mineral spirit for the initial wash, then no medium after that.

Haha thanks…fortunate to live in this era of information I guess, I have learned from my favorite artists… Sargent, Zorn, Schmid, Lipking etc. even though I haven’t met any of them
