drawings this week

2×3 ink of the grumpy tree :half hour maybe

the hawk is in a 4.5×5.5 sketchbook I made, painted with a guache background and colored inks for the hawk, an hour?

finally the singer (I love her hair) a half hour in white, umber and black charcoals on strathmore tinted paper 8×10

Great sketches, Bonnie. Their variety makes for an attractive display. The linear textures of the tree, the feathery strokes of the the falcon and the more solid tones of the singer are excellent choices for their respective subjects. Thank you for posting.
