old adobe photoshop
Does anyone recall which Adobe Photoshop had the big sunflower on the front? It was around 1999 or 2000 with Windows. I could use it just fine, but I hate the photoshop elements 7 I have now , for which I paid a lot more money.

Thanks Terry. I'm going to see if Ebay has an old one.

Re: old adobe photoshop
Have you considered Corel photo, paint shop pro. you can download for 30 day trial. I used paint shop pro for a long time, now I use Photoshop cs5 and elements 9. I like both

Re: old adobe photoshop
uh... just remember compatability is an issue. I think Photoshop 5 doesn't work on windows 7 for some oddball reason if I remember correctly?

Re: old adobe photoshop
I started in Photoshop in 1990 - with.... (I think it was 1.5?) but definatetly remember 2.0, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, CS, CS2, CS3, now on CS4 - don't have a compelling reason to upgrade.

Re: old adobe photoshop
I'm with those who stick with the recent older versions of Photoshop. I'm now on CS3 and that does the job perfectly for me. It seems the more it gets upgraded the more it has less of an artsy feel and more of a programmers feel. I understand implemented new tools but I don't need every other graphics tool (video, vector, pdf, or otherwise) integrated into it. I'm fine using those separately plus the early CS versions demands less computer memory, thus less slowing down.
