I think the misty look into the distance in the second piece is well painted. Your clouds in that one have a nice full bodied look to them and the sun hitting the small top area works really well.

Hi there Ron. I think I made that sunlight up, because it was mostly dull in the morning. I think if I were painting the second one again, I might have painted the nearest clouds with impasto brushwork.
