Re: Daffodils and Lemons in color...WIP

I am just giddy. I'm so happy to see this back because I remember following it before, and how much of a learning experience it was for me because you took such care in telling us how you approached each step. I just re-read the whole thread, and I feel like I sat in on a master demo. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise

And, may I say, this is BEAUTIFUL. I really love the lemons - I can almost smell them through the screen.

Beautifully done Karen, yellows are notoriously difficult to do well...and you have done them well indeed! Would you mind if I placed a copy of this in our WIP section as well as here?

Beautifully done, you make it look so easy and thanks for taking the time to explain everything, very helpful for new comers to the medium.

I'm so happy to hear that this exercise was helpful. Yes, yellow is not easy, but with the keys to the mystery, I know we'll see a bit more yellow around here.
Yes, Deirdre, I'd be happy to see this thread in WIP. Thank you!

Drop dead gorgeous but of course you had me at stage 3 with only part of the painting complete.... Worth the effort. thanks for taking us along the way.
