Waiting for the Sun

Woke up to a gray, drizzly day but I still had the itch to get out and paint so I buzzed up to one of the local ponds looking for spring flowers. I was sure that the sun would come out any minute but..... oh well.

Looks like the day was well spent in spite of the gray weather!

The only crit I can think of right now might be to punch up the foreground darks (shadows) a little more.
