Hi, I have recently purchased a used press. The blankets have had a moth problem. I have frozen them for a week, so the critters should all be dead. :crossfingers: Indeed, they may have been before I started, but I felt I had to do something!! – they are now dry and warm, and look okay. Can I wash them? or dry clean them?? Thanks for any information you can give

If they are really dirty you could wash them. Treat them like a fine wool sweater. They might stiffen up though when dry.

Do put them inside large trash bags and seal them up to keep the moths away from them in the future. If you can stand the smell some mothballs in the bag might be a good idea.

…or you can kill the moths in the microwave, then store them away.
