11 x 17 Scanner

Hi everybody -- this year I'd like to get an 11x17 flatbed scanner -- I'd appreciate any recommendations or suggestions. Price has to be considered too. Thanks

Re: 11 x 17 Scanner

A3 scanners (11”x17”) can be expensive. I have a 6 year old Mustek flatbed which will scan up to 11” x 17”, but its drivers will not work with the latest operating systems (win 10). I was forced to download VueScan, which is a 3rd party scanning software to continue using the Mustek scanner. Maybe you can pick up an older A3 scanner for cheap.

Re: 11 x 17 Scanner

I am interested in this subject as well. I recently bought a Brother MFC J6935DW all-in-one, which prints and scans 11x17, but its color scanning has difficulty with colors containing yellow. In one of my paintings, the scanner skewed tan to green. In another, it changed bright orange to deep red. I'm working with Brother Technical Support on the problem, but I am not hopeful for a resolution.

The scanner does an excellent job with my black ink drawings though. But if the color issue cannot be resolved, I'll be returning it.
