Hi Ulla, thank you. I actually did document each step of the coloring process of both of these flowers. I'll have to post it. Lady Carol. Copic marker blending is down with color. There is a colorless blender, but it does notwork like a blender in the traditional sense. The colorless blender pushes color, lightens color and is used to create fading to white techniques. I have used it in the works shared here as a means to deepen texture. Effective blending with Copics is achieved by using color to blend for highlight, midtone and shadow. The most interesting blends can be achieved across color families. You can achieve blends from working light to dark as well as dark to light. Whenever you push a light color into a dark copic color, it pushes it back, allowing for interesting color build up and texture. Like any medium, once you learn how to use it, you can achieve intersting new heights. I have come back to works days, weeks, months later and added to it even after it has dried. Hope this helps.
