Forest Track

I havent visited this forum for a long time and I feel a bit cheeky giving feedback on people's work, so here's a piece of mine to balance that out.

It's from a photo and the first painting I've done thats realistic (I'm used to doing expressive fantasy stuff), so it's a bit rough round the edges.

Feel free to post crits and suggestions for improvement.

8X12 on canvas board.

I like it a lot. Nice 'painterly' brushstrokes and it encourages the viewer to take a walk along that path. Well done.

I like the shadowing. The whole painting reminds me of my favorite nature walk path. Very nicely done!
