        2.75×4 watercolor on Saunders Waterford 140 lb cold press paper done today, brush only, by painting positive shapes then the negative ones with a secondary color palette. These tiny mini pansies or violas, are also known as johnny jump ups.

            How lovely! I love when they all come up in the spring.

            The yellows work so well with the purples. This would be a gorgeous mother’s day card.
