Re: May Plant Parade

I just bought two bags full of various pink shaded vinca flowers so will probably try those. They do really well in Texas heat.

Re: May Plant Parade

Viv, I will check the other forum you participate in and will look forward to seeing your May flower painting.
I have one painting done already but want to add another. Time is sure passing too fast for me these days.

Re: May Plant Parade

Hi Pat, hope you do join in and the reveal date is May 25th, so you have time. We're already in May 20 and although the days are passing quickly, I'll be glad to see what you come up with.

Re: May Plant Parade

Hi , I have given this floral challenge a go... but I will not be ready in time. I have made it rather large, and used acrylics, and started late. Spent quite some time this month unwell, and not in the mood for painting. Sat is just a few days away.

Re: May Plant Parade

Maureen, are those brush pens like the Pitt pens I have? The Pitt pens come in 2 styles, one regular and brush type. Hope you have fun trying them anyway.

Re: May Plant Parade

Hullo Plant Parade People - today is Saturday 25th May here in New Zealand so here's my Purple Flowers Plant Parade entry. Thank you Lil for Hosting.

20cm x 25cm - PanPastels & soft pastels on Mi-Teintes Paper
I thought I'd try Lil's Lilac flowers in a jug, it was more difficult than I thought it was going to be and the Lilacs looked better before I started messing about with them - however here it is.

Vivien - great work on the lilacs! They are rather challenging. My version in oils

Re: May Plant Parade

Christel - That's gorgeous! So very different from my pastel version, and I like yours better!
Isn't if funny how we both often choose the same ref. Great minds think alike I guess!

Vivien - lovely soft pastels, Tuscanny, very detailed and lovely. Two same subjects, but oh so different and wonderful work by you two talented ladies.

Yes, it's the 25th here too, but not finished
