I photographed this cute otter last year and have been looking forward to drawing him. I used pastelmat and polychromos pencils for this 8 x 7 inch portrait.

So beautiful. I saw otters when I visited British Columbia last week. They kept on diving under the water so there was no hope of a pic. You were lucky to get such a lovely reference pic.
