I just looked at your website, I am stunned by the beauty of your work.....maybe "in awe" would be a better description.

I just had to share this one. It was my second painting (I think), and it was a total disaster! The colors don't come through well, but the "disaster" does

The reasons I see for the unsatisfactoriness seem to be:

Too much wales, for the available space: no impression of the immensity of the ocean: send the bigger wale away;

Lack of contrast of values: a light in the upper part, and a dark rock on the bottom would give dynamism to the scene;
