I think people are getting hung up on the "designers" word and not realizing that that's just what it used to be called during the Mad Men era for commercial illustration. Gouache has come a long way and changed and evolved. Some of this really is down to personal preference and how you work and your style.

One think I noticed about DaVinci is that PV19 Quin Violet is used for Aliz. Crimson and 2 other Reds colors whose name escapes me. What are they doing to make these colors look different?
