Derek,
This is a great piece, and I analyzed it as a great composition. My eyes draw me to the first cow then go toward the right side and it ends on the reddish tree. Wow! Then, the use of the contrasts, and the very limited palette, and finally, in MHO, the use of the complementary colors. Great educational work.

Terrific, Derek! As always with your work, there's so much to like: the composition, wonderful lighting and the charm of the calf's gaze straight at the viewer. I have only one complaint and that's because I wanted to be able to say "udderly great," but Sid beat me to the comment.

Marvelous! Beautiful limited palette. Like that only one cow is looking at us and the rest are leaving us to our own imaginations as to what is holding the attentions. Excellent work, sir!
