I traditionally make a card each year following the oriental zodiac, and 2020 is Year of The Rat. I didn’t want to do a cartoon, but to celebrate the critter, pest that he can be, so I decided on a mixed-media print. It’s been fun, even if I printed a bunch without whiskers—I forgot them! White paint thinned down worked okay for drawing them in. The plate has been fixed.
