“ Roses ~ a quick study of Roses “

I don’t know why I keep choosing to paint roses - their so challenging to paint - but I keep trying ! This is oil study .. on linen 10x13 ..

Great one Carol! Your careful work on the glass is very good. Still life is an excellent direction whether it be flowers or other- I must do more of them.

Beautiful painting of roses Carol! The way the movement in the cloth takes the eye up to the roses is fantastic and rally love the way you painted the roses but particularly the one in isolation on the surface. The vase is so good and love the light cast across it.
