Still working on this one. Not happy with the eyes on the boy on the right. More to add on his t-shirt and the table. Subjects are my brother in law and his grandsons.

Good starts, Readyornot

I finally got the canvas covered, and feel like I can move on it now with more confidence.

I’ve been trying to tone down my vibrant tendencies, and on this one somebody said “Why!?! Don’t do that. Be who you are.”

So here’s my who-i-am painting.
16X20” oil on stretched canvas.

Not sure if I’m finished. It still needs some touches I think.

Re: Welcome to What's On Your Easel......April 2018

Thanks to a fellow WCer's kind critique, I made some corrections, mainly reducing and moving the hill in the middle ground a bit to the left. The van was also getting incrementally larger as I worked on its proportions, so I shrunk it down as well.

An oil painting of a series of doors I am creating. Sorry for the potato quality.

It is lovely! I love doors in walls, as strange as that may sound to some, enough that a friend started sharing links of them to me. Please share your progres!

When I started this one last month I didn't think it would still look like this outside when I finished it. Though this one may get revisited when I forget how exhausting the branches were to paint. Oil on 36"x24" stretched canvas.

That was my first thought!!!!

It is a beautiful painting, those shadows are just amazing. You painted at least half of those branches twice!

Hiii I am brand new to the community, and figured I might as well jump in and make my first post here. CC is welcome but please be gentle... this is the first time I am sharing anything I paint publicly. Nervous! These are some plants in my grandmother's garden and I am just playing around with the paint, trying to understand the relationships between the colors. I am just starting to learn color theory and still struggling with the warm/cool values. In any case, I am so inspired by everyones work. Thanks for reading
Also how do i add an image to the actual post???
