Re: Summer Splash

How do you make pic smaller so it fits on the screen? No matter how small I make it is still big...

Re: Summer Splash

Use an app to create a smaller version of your picture, give it a new name. Pictures have to fit within an 800 pixel box, mine are usually 800x600 pixels.

On the laptop I use Paint shop Pro and on my phone I use a Picture resizer app.

See the links in my signature.

Re: Summer Splash

Hi Alex, another beautiful painting! But I told you that already lol

If I can give you some constructive criticism, the lower horizontal quarter of the image looks quite monochrome in the greys. I don't know if this was intentional, but perhaps warm it up with some dark yellows to represent sand mixed in the water?

But nitpicking aside - a seriously good painting!

Re: Summer Splash

Thanks Richard. And much appreciate your comment. Yes, you right. I greyed that area so that the glitter stand out but now after I looked at the ref pics I see your point. I will try and glaze it with indian yellow transparent to make it warmer. The glitter seems to be cold light.

Re: Summer Splash

Thanks Doug. The size is 650 pixel. I realized it's my browser.

Thank you for you comment Dave!
