Awesome landscape! I like those soft looking colours and values. Transfer some calm mood, though I can feel this light wind disturbing the bushes.

Yes, Vasari paint is the best I've ever used. I wish that it weren't so pricey, but hey, you get what you pay for, right? ;-)

Will update tomorrow on whether or not this painting got juried in to the show I entered.

Really nice job! I understand why you made the adjustments but personally I prefer the first version--it has more "airiness" and reminds me of a Wilson Hurley painting (not bad company!).

My painting of Rone Bailey Mesa, along with two others that I entered, were juried in to the Plano 125 show today. :-) Reception and awards take place August 5th. I'll update again then.
