Well, good morning Mark. Maybe drawing to a close there, but still pretty early here, just after 5 A.M. I've been awake since about 0330, couldn't get back to sleep, so I got up about 0420. Hate mornings like this, but fortunately nothing planned for today so I'll (hopefully) be able to nap later.

I ran across this photo I took with my cell phone one afternoon in the campground during the music festival. I call it "Wine, cheese and guitar".

Not exactly roughing it I suppose.

I like your photo Don. It reminds me of a Picasso painting. Re insomnia I know exactly where you are coming from. That sleep pattern is how it is for me every night.

Another Monday. Hi to those above and those who'll visit later. Neat photos Don and Mark.

Still early Monday morning here too.

I've had increasing pain in my hands lately, and that makes So far this hasn't prevented me from taking photos, but it has made it hard to process them - using a keyboard, mouse, and/or Wacom tablet hurts. So I haven't posted much lately.

But I did get a couple done recently. Here are two taken yesterday morning...

Mark, The top half of your soxs are missing. Maybe that is why the price is so cheap!

Don, nice still life set up. I like it!

Dave, superb flower macro and I like the sky shot.
I know what you mean by hand problems and keyboarding. My left hand has been in a cast for nearly 3 weeks after I broke a couple of fingers getting off my bicycle. Cast coming off Wed and then a splint.

Hi Guys

Now that is a nice array of images to start off the week.
Mark, hopefully you have a pair of shorts or a shirt the same color as those pretty perky socks. YOU BE STYLIN'.
Dave,
I really like the shot of the moon with all the clouds enhancing the composition.

and Don,
That's doing camping the right way. Nice life style and still life.

Here is a view of our Amish friend's barn. The horses in the photo are rigged up to a plowing apparatus that the 6 and 8 year old just rode in on from the fields. We cannot believe how hard these kids work and how proud they are about helping their family. The little ones play all day, mostly outside. But the older ones, like 5 and above, start helping with the farm work. You should see their garden that is close to the house, there is not a weed in it.

Thanks Mark, Rich, and Lorell.

Nice photo of the Amish barn, Lorell.

To clarify, my cloud photo is a morning shot, and I'm pretty sure that's the rising sun, not the setting moon.

Here's another, one that happened to catch a bird...

Cooler even yet. It looks like an image of a setting sun over water that is inside the moon. You know what I mean?

I have to admit that I don't have a clue what you mean by "inside the moon." But I'm often clueless, so it's probably my bad.

No matter; I'm glad you like the photo.
