Sunflower(vertical division)

This I paint at the same time as 2 sunflowers. I was just experimenting with colors and shapes. Acrylic, stretched canvas, 20" by 16 "

I like the perspective that you have chosen on this one.
Of the three pieces my favorite is "Two Sunflowers".

Ylcia, this painting, "Sunflower (Vertical Division)" looks stiff and lacks depth. But, you said it was two years ago (I think) -- why not paint now?

Javier, You mean to paint sunflowers? I will: just in the completely different contest. I startes to paint 2 years ago and so those sunflowers and an artichoke were my first interactions with acrylics and brushes out of the 3 paintings of sunflowers the "2 sunflowers" were the last.

They all do look much better in the real paintings, though...
