round barn

This is done in pen&ink&pencil, it's a round barn on the CloverHill plantation near my residence. The plantation house (which I hope to do later) was built around 1841, but I'm not sure of the date of the barn. All C&C's welcome

Re: round barn

What a cool old barn! You brave people who use pen and ink!

It may be my computer, but to me it looks like that shadow on the right is a lot darker on the grass than it is on the path leading up to the barn? That's really the only criticism I can make...and like I said, it may just be the way it shows up on my screen.

This is a very nice drawing and I'm impressed with your work on all those bricks! You always find the neatest subjects to draw.

Re: round barn

this is very good! the left side(our left) lost it's roundness somehow, tho. being lousy at perspectives i'm not sure what you can do to this to get the illusion of this building being circular. possibly some shading on the left? is the structure on top round also?
