I have tried to paint this type of scene several times. It’s hard to keep the it fresh and not overworked. This time I tried Procreate on my iPad

I thought it was watercolor! The middle-ground grasses and distant hills are a lovely (and loose) contrast to the closer grasses.

Thank you all. The funny thing about digital painting is that it seems to reflect on the way you paint with natural materials, and I’ve been painting in watercolor since high school 30+ years
