That's a lovely selection, and story accompanying it.... I also like the presentation.

Bonnie, it looks great! the colors and textures are wonderful. I love how you combined them all into one interesting piece and the text ties it together perfectly.

Those are great, the yellow make them pop. The owls in my backyard are in full lovey dovey mode which means lots of hooting all night long!

Re: P&I forum challenge: January 2020

This is for the prompt "Something you got for Christmas". It's the lid of a perfume bottle (Marc Jacob's Daisy) that my son gave me. It's about 5x7 or so. Used the glass pen and the colors are calligraphy ink watered down.

For next month.. your favorite meal.

Re: P&I forum challenge: January 2020

Thanks! I'll be keeping that long after the perfume is gone for sure.

This is a really quick sketch. It's again ink and watered down calligraphy ink for the color. It's for the knickknack prompt and she's a pin cushion with her dress's skirt being the pin cushion part. I've always been fond of her though the way her one arm clutches her midriff always made me think she had a bit of a sore tummy.

For next month "something that you use for art or a hobby"

Re: P&I forum challenge: January 2020

Hi everyone, hope it's okay if I join the monthly challenge.

I managed to corner my daughter for 5 mins to draw her eye...

Really enjoying looking at everyones sketches ☺

My suggestion for next month, maybe something to do with love (or is that too obvious for February)?

Re: P&I forum challenge: January 2020

That would make a perfect Christmas Card. Love how you did the pine needles, it's so effective.

You get to make a suggestion for a topic to draw for next month.
