This is a mixed media painting I created for Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Awareness Month. The color for IC awareness is teal, hence the color choice for the background. I wanted to convey both the darkness as well as the resiliency and strength that comes with dealing with a chronic illness. Hope I did the subject matter justice.

Not familiar with IC but your artwork is awesome. The black/white against the darker teal background speaks volumes.
