Jamila . Lovely light and color!
I understand your fascination with them , many of us have it .
But so many have a short dancing life, it is a hard and taxing life, for their bodies.Perhaps they envy, that we often paint them ,for many years into the future.
The physical life is always hard .
The painter's life is more serene and gentler to the body don't you think ? .

June... I can´t agree more... I am always going downtown and to a lot of places to do costumes, and props...It is phisically draining, and not many people know that.
Lately I was feeling I need to slow down a bit, and do only illustrations and watercolours.
Thankyou for your comment,..., dancers, and theatre in general is fasinating,our visual senses are provoked to the utmost by their magic, so we will continue to paint them as you said
