Red face Re: Project Discussion: Crazy Caricatures (self)

Oh well, I just did a self-caricature on a whim. I'm told it's a great likeness (with exaggeration in mind, of course). Somebody always has to tell me because I suffer from face blindness. Which makes for interesting art, I guess.

It's just pen and colored pencils, 9x12. I guess I took maybe... I don't know, 4 or 5 minutes to draw? Longer to color, though. I figure speed is important unless you're doing something for a magazine or whatever.

Re: Project Discussion: Crazy Caricatures

i know it's completely off topic but please check out my entry to the fresh blood hunt competition for the new abraham lincoln vampire hunter film about to be released, tongue in cheek sounding i know. But some of the entries are really great, so if you like mine please give it a vote!

Re: Project Discussion: Crazy Caricatures

Saymo, I was immediately drawn to your caricature of Helena Bonham Carter!

You nailed the gaunt version of her very well!

I'm a big fan of hers, so here's my version of her, a bit more glammy than gaunt! lol! Cheers!
