Re: no title
It's a nice image you painted. It reminds me of Christmas and Christmas cards! I like the way you handled the light in this painting. There's a beautiful warm yellow glow in the sky and snow, and it makes a very nice combination with the subtle blues in the sky and shades of the snow.
On the front of the house there's a small roof covered with snow. The lines of the roof don't seem to follow the same perspective as the house, although of course it could be a very old and worn out roof.
As for other improvements, I think for next paintings you could play around more with the elements you want to depict, trying out different compositions. For example, you have two trees in the middle of the painting and they're kind of aligned, about the same size and shape. What if you had one thicker tree with a weird shape, and it's branches would hang over the road, as if pointing in the direction of the house? Maybe that tree could also partially fill the foreground in the left, since it's a bit empty there.
The fence leads the eye into the painting, but because of how it's positioned, I also feel it's a barrier and I'm not pulled as much into the scene (although that can be me). There's a slope on the right and also a mountain more or less in the middle. What if the mountain would be on the left? To me, that would make the composition more balanced and in addition it would make me curious where the road leads. It's a very personal choice though.
These are all just suggestions/possibilities. The nice thing is that you are the creator of your own scene, so you can play around with it!
I think you have something very nice going there, and I'm curious to see your next paintings.
