Re: The Watering Hole wip

Update! lol I actually managed to find the right batteries in this small town...didn't think I would.

So I didn't get too much more done...I slightly lightened and smoothed out the painted part, really not too much of a change, then I started scratching...the whole time thinking I was nuts! All these elephants! I'm finding it awkward to scratch on this big board and my shoulder is feeling it.

I started in the middle only to define some lines that were disappearing then moved to the end...I'll work my way to the right. This is roughly 2 hours last night and 2 hours today.

Re: The Watering Hole wip

It looks just awesome , Lorna. The skin on the elephant is so real looking with all the little folds in the trunk. It is so worth the time and effort you are putting into it. Just take it easy on the shoulder and give it time to adjust to the extra work.

Re: The Watering Hole wip

Here's a small update but a closer look.
Thank you peeps! BTW, I found a better position to scratch in, so it doesn't make my shoulder ache. lol
Patrick...I think it might get done before Jan.

It looks rather uneven right now but it will improve, honest.
