Night Train

I really like working on a black canvas. This 12 x 12 was spray painted black using a very limited pallett of Lamp black, prussian blue, burnt sienna and of course titanium white. I love trains. It is one of my hobbies.
My big question is the cloud. Is it neccesary or too isolated. Does it take away from the rest of the painting>

Re: Night Train

To be honest i didn't notice the cloud,it may be because i had to scroll the picture. There would be a light source and it maybe smoke from the Locos or an industrial site as well.
I think it a very good atmospheric piece of work, well done.
