Re: 2012 Guessing challenge

Pam your beautiful scratchboard arrived today and it is gorgeous. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful piece, I fell in love with that wolf's gorgeous blue eyes the first time I saw them and hoped maybe it could be mine one day. I am just so excited to give it a wonderful home. I can't wait to get it framed.

I got the one from Sheryl. It is very beautiful!

I have not yet send mine. I know it is very late, and I will apologize to the person whom I am sending it to.

Re: 2012 Guessing challenge

Okay... I'm freaking out here in Puerto Rico. Mail takes 1-4 days to get up to anywhere in the States. I spend my piece up a month ago and it still hasn't arrived in Canada?!?! I've sent things up there before and it's been about 3 weeks. Please tell me it's gotten there and the recipient forgot to mention it?!? It went out a month ago...

((SIGH))

Thanks, Maxime, for the note... I was afraid I'd need to do a makeover. Glad you like it.

Re: 2012 Guessing challenge

Despite spraying delays (including a big fat fingerprint I put on the next to the last coat) Bob finally took off for NC to Ginger Saturday. Hope he gets there in good time.

Re: 2012 Guessing challenge

I got mine from ALLAN (aaces)!!!! OMG you should see the teeny tiny detail in it. My husband is in love with it (he likes m/cs) and I am in love with it because it is a truly grand piece of scratchart. I can only dream of doing this much detail in such a little piece. Thank you so much, Allan!!

Re: 2012 Guessing challenge

Im sooooo glad you like it Sue! Whew! Tell your Hubby thanks as well
I'm always super nervous when sending boards to a fellow Scratcher.
They know more about it and can tell if its a little off easier
I had to sand down the first clear coat and spray it again.
Those details...small scratches...Sue...You CAN do them! I've seen your works
I sincerely thank you for the kind words

Now that mine has arrived, I can brag about the one I got...
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ginger did such a Masterful job on the pic of my
grandson Izak! I don't think she realizes the effect it had on
me, my wife, and everyone who has seen it. I have it on my mantle
in my living room for whoever enters my home to see. Many of my
friends have commented on it..."DID YOU DO THAT????"
I quickly respond Nope...another Fantastic Scratchy Friend of mine did
I then explain about the exchange, and give them Ginger's name.
They are always amazed...as I am still today.
You have given me a family keepsake that will be cherished
for many years...generations actually.
Thank you Ginger

Re: 2012 Guessing challenge

Allan, isn't it so wonderful that the real board looks 100 times better than the photo? I saw yours posted and knew it was nice, but wow! Like I said the small lines and intricate detail just blew me away. Thank you so much!

Re: 2012 Guessing challenge

Happy Dance!!!

Bob the Lion made it to his new home today and is already loved

Thank you oh, so much Terri (celticelf). Your hard work is precious to me. I love Bob and truly love the care you took to make him for me. He's quite regal and peaceful in his world. I need that to look at. Again, thank you!

And then... I just happened to read Allan's post and almost couldn't type.

My eyes got wet, I got a lump in my throat and my hands started shaking. To touch others with my work is the ultimate compliment. I don't know what else to say but a humble "you're welcome" and I think I need to go get another tissue. For once... I'm speechless.

Re: 2012 Guessing challenge

Dear, dear Shone - I got my treasure from the Post Office yesterday! I am so proud of this beauty. The colors are brilliant, even more so than online. Thank you, thank you!

WOW!! I just received my board from Kendall (KKing), it's beautiful and something that I will always treasure. It's a touching subject and so lovingly rendered (the one with the hands).

Thank you, Kendall!
