I think of each of our days as a rung on a ladder, or a step, constantly learning, growing and seeking for improvement. When we die we will reach our highest point above the clouds in eternal bliss. Thinking along these lines helps me stay grounded knowing that through the struggle in the material plane is ultimately a spiritual journey forever spiraling upwards.
Buddha suggests to those who need inspiration for their art to go before a perfectly blank wall until it's design, compostion, and subject reveal itself. -Jack Rutherford
